I have no words

M pa gen mo, y’all…

I’ve reached another spot where my brain is just full. I can’t absorb any more info, and I’m losing touch with what I’ve already “learned.” This morning in practice I was stumbling over familiar words and grammar that I learned back in March and April.

And I’ve reached another spot where I realize just how much I do not know about this language. It is not all just present tense verbs and clear subject-verb-object declarative statements.

I was reading/listening to some materials that are going into past and future perfect or clauses or different ways to show possessive forms, and it is just a wall of noise. 🙁

From past experience, I know notionally that this is just how my brain works. It absorbs for a while, then it has to stop accepting input while it clears its buffer and stores the content with a new index, and then it’s ready to go again.

But yikes I have a lesson in seven hours and I am just going to babble..
